The 7 Best Family Activities in Lekki, Ranked
Children on a boardwalk through a Lekki nature park
Seven things to do with kids in Lekki, ordered by how well they actually hold a five-year-old's attention.
One to four
1) La Campagne Tropicana day pass. Horses, canoes, a lake, a beach — a whole day gone without a screen. Two hours' drive but worth it. 2) Lekki Conservation Centre. Monkeys, tortoises, the canopy walk (kids over 6), and enough boardwalk to run off energy safely. Under ₦2,000 entry.
3) Upbeat Recreation Centre in Lekki Phase 1. Trampolines, climbing, ninja course — the go-to rainy-day option. Book weekend slots ahead. 4) KidZania Lagos at Discovery Mall (technically VI). Role-play city for kids 4-14, and the best indoor activity in Lagos for that age.
Five to seven
5) Lufasi Nature Park in Abraham Adesanya. Turtles, birds, quieter than LCC and better for toddlers. 6) The cinema and arcade at Circle Mall or Palms Mall — a reliable two-hour reset with popcorn included. 7) Elegushi Beach with a horse ride and suya afterwards. Not for young toddlers (rough sand, loud speakers) but 7-12s love it.
I have left off Landmark Beach because while it is family-friendly, it works better as an all-day adult outing with kids attached — the sunbeds and cocktails are the real product. La Campagne is the honest family answer.
Before you book
What people ask before booking Lekki Phase 1.
Not currently in Lekki. Hi-Impact Planet in Sangotedo has a small water play area but nothing on the scale of a proper water park.
Officially six, and they will check. Under-sixes can still enjoy the ground-level boardwalks and animals.
