It's inside Lekki technically but it takes a full half-day and it's the closest thing to a rainforest you’ll find in Lagos.

Getting in
The Conservation Centre is on Lekki-Epe Expressway at kilometre 19, about 20 minutes from Phase 1 off-peak or an hour in traffic. Bolt is $5 to $7. Entry is around $4 for adults, kids under 12 half price. The famous canopy walkway, at 401 metres the longest in Africa, is a separate ticket of about $6. Open 8:30am to 5pm daily.
What to actually do
Two hours covers it. Walk the boardwalk through the mangroves and rainforest, expect monkeys, monitor lizards and plenty of birds. The tree house at the end has good views. Do the canopy walk last; it's swaying and long and worth the queue. There's a small cafe near the entrance selling water, meat pies and soft drinks, budget $5. Bring insect repellent.

The Conservation Centre works well as a morning activity paired with lunch on Admiralty Way and an afternoon at Landmark Beach. Or pair it with Nike Art Gallery on the way back for a full culture-and-nature day. Weekends get busy with school groups and families, weekdays are much quieter.
