Lekki Hotels with Rooftop Bars Worth Visiting

Eight hotel rooftops where the view earns the ₦8,000 cocktail — and two where it doesn’t.
The good ones
Sky Lounge at Eko Hotel is the most established rooftop in the corridor, with a wraparound view of the lagoon and Victoria Island skyline. Cocktails run ₦7,000-₦12,000 and the crowd is business travellers on weekdays, dressed-up Lagosians on Saturdays. Radisson Blu Anchorage has a smaller pool-deck bar that catches sunset over the water — quieter, better for a proper conversation.
Cactus on Adetokunbo Ademola isn’t hotel-owned but is used by several hotel guests as an overflow spot. Vellvett Lounge inside the Landmark complex works for a pre-dinner drink before you head to the beach clubs downstairs. The Wheatbaker's terrace bar is Ikoyi, technically, but its whisky selection is the best on this side of the lagoon.
The overrated ones
A handful of Lekki Phase 1 hotels have added rooftop bars in the last two years that are essentially plastic chairs on a concrete slab with a portable speaker. If the promotional photos show string lights and no actual furniture, take that as a warning. Dress codes are enforced at the serious rooftops — no shorts or beach sandals at Sky Lounge or The Wheatbaker terrace after 7pm.
For a hotel rooftop without staying overnight, arrive before 7pm on weekends. By 9pm the walk-in list at Sky Lounge closes and Radisson's terrace is at capacity. Reservations are accepted only for tables of six or more. Cash and card both work; tipping 10% on the bill is standard.
Before you book
What people ask before booking Lekki Phase 1.
Radisson Blu Anchorage — it faces west over the lagoon. Eko's Sky Lounge is higher but faces south, so you get skyline rather than sun.
Most are 18+ after 6pm. The Wheatbaker allows kids until 7pm; Sky Lounge and Vellvett are adults-only in the evening.
