Lekki in Two Days: A Weekend That Actually Works

Two full days with 6 core stops, a Saturday beach club and a Sunday brunch that survive Lagos traffic if you follow the timing.
Day 1 (Saturday): art, market, beach club
9am: coffee at Cafe Neo in Ikate. 10am to noon: Nike Art Gallery, five floors of Nigerian textiles, sculpture and painting, no ticket needed. 12:30pm: taxi to Lekki Arts and Crafts Market on the expressway for masks, beads and adire, and bargain hard, expect to pay 40 percent of the opening price.
2pm: lunch at Terra Kulture on Tiamiyu Savage for buffet Nigerian classics. 4pm to 9pm: La Campagne Tropicana or, closer in, La Veranda beach club at Oniru. Book a cabana before you go. Dinner is usually included at the beach clubs, but if not, drive back for late plates at Nok by Alara in Victoria Island.
Day 1 sleep: Lekki Phase 1
Stay near Admiralty Way or Fola Osibo. The George Hotel, Bode Hotel, or a serviced apartment through Landwey or Propertypro puts you inside 10 minutes of everything on Sunday's plan. Avoid Ajah or Sangotedo for a two-day trip; the traffic back in on Sunday morning will eat 90 minutes.
If you want higher-end and don’t mind a 25-minute drive to Ikoyi, Wheatbaker or Radisson Blu Anchorage are better hotels than anything currently in Lekki proper. For families, Lekki Coliseum area has apartments with pools that work better than a hotel room.
Day 2 (Sunday): nature, brunch, sunset
8:30am: Lekki Conservation Centre, straight to the canopy walk before the queue. 11am: brunch at Bay Lounge or Cactus on Admiralty, both do a real Sunday spread. 1pm to 4pm: Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge walk, or the Freedom Park drive across to Ikoyi for the boat jetty at Tarkwa Bay if the tide and boat schedule cooperate.
5pm to 7pm: Landmark Beach for sunset and dinner. Fly out or drive back to your hotel by 9pm. On Sundays, traffic from Lekki to the airport takes 90 minutes if you leave by 8pm, closer to three hours if you leave after 5pm on a weekday.

For a first visit, yes. Two days covers the canopy walk, Nike Gallery, one beach club, one market, one sunset spot and two proper dinners. A third day only makes sense if you want a day trip to Epe or Badagry.
No. Book a driver through your hotel or use Bolt with the same driver both days for around 25,000 to 40,000 naira per day. Driving yourself in Lekki traffic without knowing the shortcuts is a poor use of a weekend.
