The geography
Lekki Phase 1 sits just east of the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge and runs from Admiralty Way in the north to Fola Osibo in the south. Grid-planned, tree-lined and (by Lagos standards) walkable — meaning you can cover 15 minutes on foot without dying of exhaustion. This is where most of the mid-range hotels cluster, where the best restaurants concentrate, and where the estate roads stay quiet enough to sleep at night.
What to actually do
Nike Art Gallery on Elegushi Road is the anchor — five floors, free entry, and Nike herself often on site to talk you through the collection. Terra Kulture on VI is a 15-minute drive for theatre and Nigerian art. Eat at RSVP on Akin Adesola, Ilona Lounge, or Sao Cafe. For nightlife, cross to VI's Oniru — Vellvett, Quilox and Landmark Beach are all within a $6 Uber.
Where to stay
Yin Yang Boutique, Bon Voyage and Best Western Plus Elomaz all sit in the $110 to $180 range. For serviced apartments, look along Freedom Way. Avoid the Lekki-Epe Expressway-facing rooms — the traffic noise doesn’t stop until midnight.

How long to spend here?
Two to three nights covers the essentials without repeating restaurants. Any longer and you’ll want to move to VI or day-trip.
Is it safe to walk at night?
Inside Phase 1 estates, yes until about 10pm. Take Ubers after that — they cost $3 to $6 for any journey inside the estate.
