Abraham Adesanya is the roundabout and the surrounding streets that mark the transition between Ajah and Sangotedo, curving off south towards Lekki Scheme 2 and Ogombo. It is calmer than Ajah roundabout, and several small mid-priced hotels and serviced apartments have opened along the estate roads leading off it.
It suits budget business travellers with meetings on the peninsula, and visitors to Lekki Gardens or Scheme 2 estates. It does not suit tourists chasing beaches or nightlife — you’re far enough east that Bolt fares to Phase 1 start adding up, and there is no destination worth walking to.
Prices and access
Serviced apartments in the interior estates run ₦40,000-70,000, small hotels near the roundabout sit at ₦30,000-55,000, and the newer boutique guesthouses push ₦75,000-95,000. About 40-50% below Phase 1 pricing.
Walkable: a couple of supermarkets, a Chicken Republic, some suya stands, a filling station. Novare Sangotedo is a ₦1,000 Bolt. Ajah market is 10 minutes by car. Elegushi Beach is 45 minutes into Phase 1 traffic; Eleko Beach is 40 minutes east, often faster.

Sangotedo has the mall, so it wins for most travellers. Abraham Adesanya is a shade closer to Ajah's chaos and slightly cheaper.
Is Abraham Adesanya safe at night?
The estates are fine. The roundabout itself gets thin on foot after 10pm; use Bolt.
