4- and 5-star hotels in Enugu
A shortlist of 4- and 5-star hotels in Enugu, drawn from the city's upscale options. It is for travellers who want a comfortable, well-run base for business, events or a short break in southeastern Nigeria.
Staying in Enugu
Enugu is a commercial and administrative centre in southeastern Nigeria, known as the 'Coal City' for its historical coal mining industry. Visitors come for business, events and to explore the surrounding countryside, including the Udi Hills and nearby waterfalls, and the city also has lively markets such as Ogbete Main Market and cultural sites like the National Museum of Unity. The hotels on this shortlist sit in the city's established districts: several on Peacock Drive, Vosan Drive, Nza Street, Waec Road and Plot 18 in Independence Layout, others along Presidential Road, Ogui Link Road, Bisalla Road and Lugard Ave closer to the centre. The mix suits different trips. Couples and short-break visitors get pools, spas and restaurants without being far from the centre, while business travellers have conference halls, business centres and meeting rooms. Families are served by family rooms, apartments with kitchens, and pools.
