Tips for hotels stays in Lagos

When choosing a hotel in Lagos, consider the area that best suits your plans. Victoria Island and Ikeja are popular for business travelers, while Lekki Phase 1 offers a mix of residential and commercial conveniences. Think about your daily destinations and traffic patterns before booking.

Check recent guest reviews to gauge service quality, cleanliness, and amenities. Ratings from a large number of reviews tend to be more reliable than those from just a few. Look for consistent feedback on the aspects that matter most to you.

Confirm the hotel’s star rating and the amenities you need, such as airport transfers, meeting facilities, or dining options. Not all hotels offer the same services, so verify directly with the property before you arrive.

Plan for Lagos traffic by choosing a hotel close to your main activities. If you have early flights, an airport-area hotel can reduce stress. For leisure, consider proximity to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.

Book early during peak travel seasons, as top-rated hotels fill up quickly. Flexible cancellation policies can be helpful if your plans change. Always read the fine print on your reservation.
